CPM staff show off Sino Iron to their families
- Details
Nearly 100 family members and friends of CPM staff arrived at Sino Iron on Saturday.
Family Day is an opportunity for CPM staff to show their loved ones their workplace in the Pilbara, touring the mine, processing and port areas.
Ranging in age from seven-year-olds to grandparents, all our guests had the chance to sit in the cab of a parked haul truck and see the diggers and trucks at work from the mine lookout.
Dubbed the ‘tug boat ballet’, the tug boats and one of the crew transfer vessels put on a show at port, and there was also the opportunity to try driving in the haul truck simulator, which impressed the kids young and old alike.
A big thanks to the many CPM volunteers who made sure the families had a wonderful time.
